Responsibilities
• Collaborate with families, colleagues, and school's Student Services Team regarding student learning goals• Build positive relationships with children and manage student behavior• Participate in Professional Learning Communities at school and district level• Implement evidence-based strategies to support School Improvement Plan goals• Resource and case manage programming for students with disabilities• Design learning opportunities and instruct students with complex support needs• Co-serve with regular education teachers• Provide evidence-based intervention and monitor student progress• Teach in an urban and/or culturally & linguistically diverse setting• Develop students' capacity and skills to be community, college, and career ready
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Cross Categorical Special Education• Cover Letter, Resume, Letters of Recommendation, Transcripts & Licenses/Certifications• Desire to teach in an urban and/or culturally & linguistically diverse setting• Bilingual (Spanish) and biliterate candidates encouraged to apply
