In this role, the Teacher Preparation Program Specialist contributes to the mission of Christ-centered education transforming the world with grace and truth. The School of Education contributes to the mission by placing students who see teaching as their calling to be salt and light in schools.Identify, manage, and track student placements in each school during the semester.Provide related support to the SoE in operational efficiencies, program quality, and related projects.Understanding of CCU specific software such as the use of eforms for SoE. Manage all aspects of the eforms process for field experience and student teaching.Support the School of Education field coordinators in all aspects of field placement and information tracking.Support the School of Education field coordinators in reimbursements and remuneration for supervisors and school based teachers.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. You may be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends.
