Responsibilities
• Work on assigned tax or accounting engagements• Monitor workload and stay current on firm policies• Prepare tax returns and financial statements• Research tax issues• Participate in recruiting and teambuilding activities• Take CPA examination• Monitor billable hours and maintain required CPE• Develop network for practice development• Provide courteous and prompt service to customers• Assist in improving service, work processes, and financial performance
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field• Working towards 150 hours of college credit• CPA designation preferred but not required• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred• Experience in public accounting or professional services preferred• Ability to effectively communicate and deal with relationships• High degree of professionalism and confidentiality• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office• Highly organized and capable of multitasking• Critical thinking skills• Physical abilities for lifting, bending, sitting, walking• Ability to work with computers and normal hearing• Minimum 25% travel required
