Our practice includes a full range of services: auditing, tax preparation and tax management; bookkeeping, business valuation; estate planning; financial and retirement planning and business succession planning. Our specialized industries include real estate; manufacturing; distributors; construction; hospitality, retailer; trucking; automobile; nonprofit and service organizations.
We are currently seeking an experienced tax professional to join our expanding tax practice.  If you want to be on a partner track, we can definitely offer that as well.  Tax season hours are 50-55/week, balance of the year is a 35-hour week.
Responsibilities of this position include tax preparation while continuing to grow client relationships, ability to review the work of staff accountants and supervise them, the preparation and review of relevant workpapers, and other related tasks. We have a team approach to provide high quality client service for tax compliance, planning, financial statements, and general business consulting.
A strong candidate must:
Have a bachelor's degree in accounting Be a licensed CPA or have a desire to progress towards CPA certification Possess excellent computer and written and oral communication skills Have 4+ years of recent tax experience - including a supervisory role - in a public accounting environment Experience with UltraTax is a plus!
