Tax Manager/Senior Tax Manager Position

Desroches Partners is seeking to hire experienced CPA's for the role of Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager in our Dallas or Houston office. Responsibilities include:
Review and see to completion preparation of federal and state individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns of varying complexities
Build and manage client relationships
Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members
Apply technical expertise to a client's business and tax planning needs
Manage IRS examinations and correspondence
Keep up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Assist with new business development
Thoroughly research tax issues and effectively communicate the results of your research
Assist in the administration of our firm
Requirements:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA certification
6 or more years of public accounting experience with at least 3 or more years supervising tax staff
Strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable interfacing with clients
Ability to work well in a team environment
Must reside in the Dallas or Houston metro areas
