Tax Director

Vaco is looking for a Tax Director to join our clients' dynamic, high-energy team.
As a Tax Director , you will lead the development and maintenance of a robust tax infrastructure for a large, accelerated SEC filer with multiple entities and currencies
You will play a core role in ensuring our clients company's compliance with domestic and international tax laws, overseeing tax and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize tax compliance processes to ensure accurate and timely filing of returns. Create and maintain internal tax compliance policies and documentation. Manage annual and quarterly tax provision processes. Collaborate with external tax consulting firms on federal, state, and international tax returns. Manage tax audits and resolve tax disputes efficiently. Conduct Nexus studies and manage associated tax filings and compliance. Monitor changes in tax laws and their impact on compliance obligations. Coordinate R&D tax credit studies and transfer pricing activities. Oversee insurance applications and assist with payroll and 401K audits. Job Requirements: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification required. 8+ years of professional experience with 2+ years in a similar tax role. Deep expertise in tax and compliance. Public company experience is a plus. Experience with Avalara and NetSuite is preferred. Salary: $140,811 - $232,306 per year
