Job Details:
We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Permanent Tax Associate to join our finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for tax preparation, financial analysis, compliance, and accounting support.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
2. Utilize tax preparation software to accurately and efficiently prepare tax returns.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify potential tax liabilities and opportunities for tax savings.
4. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
5. Provide accounting support, including maintaining financial records, preparing statements, and reconciling accounts.
6. Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize profits.
7. Communicate with clients to gather information, address inquiries, and provide expert advice.
8. Collaborate with the finance team to streamline tax processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. CPA certification preferred or CPA eligible candidate.
3. 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, and financial analysis.
4. Proficiency in MS Suite and QuickBooks.
5. Experience with tax preparation software.
6. Strong knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and returns.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
10. High attention to detail and accuracy.
11. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
