Responsibilities
• Prepares corporate, partnership, S-corp, and individual returns• Assists with responding to tax notices• Reviews letters drafted by tax staff• Initiates and reviews S-elections and accounting change requests• Acts as a resource for tax and accounting staff• Develops client relationships and practice entrepreneurial skills• Increases frequency and scope of client relationships• Learns about the firm's service capabilities• Builds relationships with managers and partners• Adapts to various management styles
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related subject• EA or CPA a plus• Minimum of 3 years in public accounting taxation
Key Skills Needed
• Experience in corporate, partnership, S-corp, and individual tax preparation• Knowledge of tax notices and draft letter review• Familiarity with S-elections and accounting change requests• Strong client relationship building skills• Ability to adapt to different management styles
