Tax Accountant - Remote

Position type: 1 year contract
The Tax Accountant will assist with the process of applying for and collecting tax credits at the Authority (the Authority). The person in this role will gather documentation and provide the support needed for the application of tax credits. This is a new process at the Authority and it will involve fulfilling tax processes and filing requirements. It will also involve corresponding with Authority staff to collect required data and to ensure coordination is occurring. This position will have no direct reports. Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting (Masters degree preferred) Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in an accounting role Licenses and/or Certifications: CPA desirable but not required
