Tax Accountant

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and providing tax planning and advisory services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to stay updated on tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Assist clients with tax planning and advisory services to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits. Prepare and review tax provisions and deferred tax calculations. Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities. Stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to clients. Provide tax-related support and guidance to internal teams and clients as needed. Maintain accurate records of tax filings and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive tax solutions to clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred. 3+ years of experience in tax accounting or related roles. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
