The Recruiter's primary focus is to serve as the company's first point of contact for all interested external and internal candidates for our career opportunities. They work to continually develop our pipelines and establish French Truck as an efficient employer of choice. They will manage the company's applicant tracking system and will work closely with new hires to ensure a successful new hire experience.
Essential Job Functions Maintains and helps strengthen the full life cycle of French Trucks recruitment process Recruits, screens, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions Identify and source candidates for a variety of roles including entry level positions up to director level roles Creation of job posts and management of recruitment platforms Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications Assists with the new hire onboarding process Performs other duties as assigned by their supervisor Competencies Teamwork Responsibility Commercial Awareness Decision Making Effective Communication Integrity Result Orientation Problem Solving Education/Experience Requirements Bachelors Degree preferred with a concentration in business administration or human resources Prior experience in human resources preferred High-volume recruitment in a retail environment preferred Skills/Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn our HRIS, ATS, and talent management systems Working Conditions & Physical Demands Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
