Waterway has an immediate opportunity for a  Talent Acquisition Manager  leading our Manager and Corporate Support recruiting function. 
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for oversight of full-cycle recruiting of Manager and Corporate roles from candidate sourcing, through selection, to onboarding. This position supports Waterway's core mission of having a world class team by ensuring that stores and corporate functions are fully staffed with A+ talent. The Talent Acquisition Manager will support all markets and the Corporate office, and will lead the manager recruiting and support team.
This position will focus on three primary objectives: (1) Strategic sourcing of talent including prospected (head-hunted), employee referrals, college referrals, and internet to drive overall applicant volume and quality, (2) Achieving all market hiring needs to maintain fully staffed status and a pipeline of manager talent, (3) Effective management of the manager recruiting team and their processes. This role will report to the Vice President of Talent and Culture.
This role offers a hybrid work scheduled, is based out of our Chesterfield Corporate Support office in Chesterfield, MO , and will support all Waterway markets (St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Denver, and Cleveland). Occasional travel to Waterway markets will be required.
Compensation and Benefits Total annual compensation $95,000 + depending on experience. Includes competitive base pay plus bonus. More than 1,700 team members operate 29 (and growing) Waterway locations across five major metropolitan markets, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Kansas City, and St. Louis. Waterway locations offer a mix of exterior express and full-service car wash services, as well as gasoline and retail convenience stores.

What You'll Do Candidate Sourcing Develop overall candidate sourcing strategy, including goal and strategy for each major source type. Conduct effective prospect searches, implement and refine prospecting process, measure results and refine as necessary to achieve goals. Take ownership for and drive awareness of employee referral program in order to drive referrals, applications, and hires. Implement targeted school and university relationship plan to drive referrals from school recruiting events. Oversee internal candidate prospecting, application, interview and promotion process. Monitor internet applicant volume, including specific internet sources, to direct and amend internet advertising budget. Candidate Selection Conduct effective interviews using competency-based behavior interviewing techniques. Monitor selection rates of all recruiters and hiring managers to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and/or selection rates. Ensure high levels of candidate care and responsiveness, maintaining timely and professional communication to increase candidate engagement. Ensure appropriate evaluation and documentation for all interviews to support hiring decisions. Goal Setting Monitor the staffing needs of all markets, including turnover and growth needs to create monthly, quarterly, and annual hiring goals. Monitor overall time-to-fill and selection rates, and identify opportunities to reduce time-to-fill by monitoring candidate progress through each stage of the interview process. Track expenses and identify opportunities to remain within budget and cost-per-hire targets. Compliance Ensure all interviews are conducted with appropriate job-related questions and are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in the fields of business, human resources, or similar. Minimum 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting manager and corporate level positions. Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred, but not required. Drivers' License and acceptable driving record. Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Able to successfully pass a comprehensive post offer background check. Environmental – office based, with requirement to be able to work onsite at locations outside for limited periods of time. Physical – must be able to walk, sit for extended periods of time. Vision and Hearing – Far and near visual acuity, peripheral vision and depth perception. Hear, understand, and distinguish speech from other sounds. Language – must be able to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with other team members, managers, and customers for business related purposes. Attendance – maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance. Work as assigned schedule.
