Position Summary We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team to oversee the sourcing, interviewing, and hiring process for MDC Holdings and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities This position will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing innovative approaches to attracting, selecting, and retaining talented candidates. Additional responsibilities include:
Supervise the recruiting team and work with hiring managers to assist with recruitment efforts. Develop recruitment strategy. This may include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning, etc… Responsible for strategizing, sourcing and filling all Corporate VP, Regional President, Division President, and Division Finance and Regional positions. Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers with hiring and employment data. May develop specialized or competitive intelligence and research in regard to talent development or retention. Proactively assess and develop strategies for recruitment forecasting, turnover replacement and new headcount adjustments with senior management. Develop college and military recruiting programs. Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process. Manage all third-party recruitment vendor relationships. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience including recruitment of C-level executive and senior management roles. A minimum of 2 years managing a talent acquisition team. Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study (Business Administration, Human Resources, ect.) In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques. Familiarity with a variety of different sourcing and selection methods. Hands on experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools Ability to motivate employees A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success Strong knowledge of employment law as it relates to recruiting and hiring practices.
