Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial advice and services to its clients including brokerage, investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit & lending, deposits & cash management, annuities, insurance, retirement and trust services.Morgan Stanley Private Bank, N.A. is seeking a high potential candidate to work in the Tailored Lending ("TL") product group's COO team to assist in managing the continued build out of the TL business and its role as First Line of Defense. Job Description/Position Responsibilities The Lending Specialist will be responsible for:•    Working closely with the Business Reporting Manager, Product areas and the TL COO Team to design and develop a full suite of reporting requirements to support the newly created Asset Management (AM) teams within the business•    Reporting on Asset Management activity and trends including, but not limited to, product specific portfolio views, covenant tracking, periodic reviews, margin call activity, turn times, backlogs, resource allocation, etc.•    Assisting with developing and enforcing data quality governance procedures for a current state assessment of data gaps and quality as well as ongoing data maintenance•    Producing reporting requirements as designed (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)•    Owning the generation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of AM reports as needed; creation of new reporting initiatives as required•    Assisting with the creation of presentations and management decks required to provide updates to management and other areas on the AM reporting work effort and/or present key data/metrics to management as necessary•    Manipulating large data sets to extract and report on AM related trends•    Drafting and maintaining procedures for all AM reporting activities and ensuring business continuity for responsibilities•    Supporting other Portfolio Management and/or Servicing related activitiesRequired Experience  •    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience•    3-5 years prior banking, lending, and/or business management experience preferredSkills/Abilities •    Strong MS Office 365 skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, Access, etc.•    Macro experience preferred•    Detail oriented and strong analytical skills•    Experience with Dataiku and Tableau platforms is a plus•    Familiarity with CCAR and other regulatory reporting a plus•    Ability to collaborate with many levels and functional areas within the organization•    Strong presentation skills; experience presenting to various levels including senior management•    Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting•    Self-starter and highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and driven by success•    Ability to multi-task and efficiently complete assignments within tight deadlines•    Comprehensive and logicalExpected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment.  However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.Morgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
