Knowledge of the programming of mobile devices and scanners is a plusThis position will report to the HSS IT Infrastructure Manager and will interact with the location's end users, as well as other IT support groups to continuously improve the infrastructure for headquarters and the sites. The position requires technical and functional expertise with a thorough understanding of the standard IT responsibilities (network configurations, server hardware and software, disk management, database administration, backups, production support, compliance). Major Activities/Key Challenges Support the IT Infrastructure at the HSS HQ locations and their associated IT functionality tied to hardware/software configuration, administration, patching, and overall compliance. Provide architectural guidance for infrastructure functionality including cloud support, domain administrative functions, and vendor management (internal and external providers). Support the Engineering team PCS ASAT (PSAT) with respect to IT-related areas. Ensure HSS systems are compliant with documented standards and corporate security guidelines. Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing leadership to support Smart Manufacturing projects. Responsible for assigned business IT ASAT areas. Participate on infrastructure projects to benefit the business unit's technology posture. Coordinate with corporate support teams to support HSS business users. Maintain business client health (threat protection, software licenses and patch levels). Respond to emerging security threats when required. When required, travel to HSS locations to provide project support or any other site-related IT infrastructure support. Other duties as assigned.
