RESPONSIBILITIES Provide proactive onsite support to multiple Senate offices as assigned. Initiate pre-installation meetings for all server and complex installations for assigned Senate offices. Provide technical guidance, support and backup services to Senate offices. Utilize HP Service Manager to track incident and change tickets. Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs in a complex LAN/WAN network environment of over 11,000 workstations and 3,000 servers including Active Directory forests/domains, servers, workstations, peripherals and wireless devices. Assist Senate System Administrators with patching, administrating, and securing their office's servers. Manage the installation process of new equipment for all offices ensuring that all ordered equipment is installed correctly and within contractual guidelines as to fulfill SLA requirements as well as ensure customer satisfaction. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or at least 5+ years of related technical experience Customer service training and 5+ years of direct customer support Exceptional verbal and written communications skills required to prepare and deliver technical briefings and reports to SAA staff and/or hardware and software vendors Previous consulting experience working with VIP level customers
Previous IT project management experience Experience supporting both Windows and Apple environments, both hardware and software. Experience with Windows 7/10 Experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Knowledge of VMI Working experience with Windows and Apple products Must be able to pass the United States Capitol Police background check.
