System Adminstrator 2 woodcons.com Seeking a System Administrator 2 that is well versed in the SSP Management process to include addressing and meeting milestones containined witnin respective POA&Ms to achieve ATO and/or StE/StN compliance. Additionally, will be responsible for the overall health and status of all systems to include patching and updates. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and System Security Plan (SSP) Management.
Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess and active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph. Required Education & Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Overall SSP Management (StE/StN, POA&M, ATO, RMF) Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices Linux systems administration experience - must be comfortable with command line, troubleshooting Configure and manage UNIX, Linux, Windows and Virtual (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance Health / Status Maintenance of SSP / Systems (Patching, Updates, etc.) Desired Skills
