Seeking a self-motivated technician to assist the owner in a design build land development project in Stuart, Florida. Candidate will work with consultants and contractors on site, translate design grades to stake out horizontal and vertical controls of roads, parking areas, and underground utilities. Candidate will survey and capture installed structures and features to prepare as-built information to assist with the design build program. Candidate must be proficient with AutoCad Civil 3D and Total Stations Survey equipment.
Job Duties and Requirements:
Able to work in office and field settings, communication skills to coordinate with consultants and ownership. Prepare surface models for earthwork analysis. Prepare surface files to upload to construction vehicles. Layout of underground utilities such as storm drainage, water, sewer, electrical lines. Responsible maintaining a record of as built conditions for structures, roads, utilities. Work closely with project managers and construction superintendents. Establish elevations for grading of land, roads, utilities, and building floors. Operate transits, levels, robotic instruments, and total stations. Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, often in outdoor working conditions.
