As a Surgical First Assistant, you play a crucial role as a trained individual who actively assists the surgeon in completing operations safely and efficiently. Your aid in exposure, hemostasis , and other technical functions ensures the surgeon can carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. Your immediate support to the surgeon is invaluable, and we're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, well-rounded, helpful, and has a supportive team attitude. Experience: Minimum two years of Surgical Tech experience Requirements: CPR required Graduate of a certified surgical tech program conducted by a community college, vocational school, hospital school, or relevant hospital-based training. Other experience and education may be considered Current certification as a Certified First Assist by one of the Certifying bodies: American Board of Surgical Assistants, National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
