The Nuclear Medicine Chief will be an integral part of this 150+ bed acute care hospital that prides itself in providing state of the art and innovative patient care. This facility has won many prestigious awards and distinctions and provides a wide array of services such as Emergency Care, Perioperative Services, Oncology, Pediatrics, Mother-Baby, and so much more. The Nuclear Medicine Chief will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will keep them informed on unit operations. 
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the nuclear medicine department, including staff supervision, training, and performance management.Oversee the scheduling of nuclear medicine procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and patient satisfaction.Maintain and troubleshoot nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy and reliability of nuclear medicine procedures.Stay current with advances in nuclear medicine technology and recommend equipment upgrades or enhancements as needed.Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other health care professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines governing nuclear medicine practices.The Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist will have the pleasure of living in Cookeville Tennessee, a town that offers a special mix of southern hospitality and modern amenities, making it an ideal place to call home. Cookeville offers beautiful parks and nature around every turn, while the city's downtown has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
