Position Summary/Description: The Support Services Associate will provide customer assistance with on-site management of parts and materials used to ensure continuous operation of Cogeneration Systems (CG) and Electric Distribution (ED). This multifaceted position is responsible for acquiring, receiving, shipping, disbursing; chemicals, inventory, and consumable parts/materials. These responsibilities require the ability to develop relationships, communicate with a diverse customer and vendor base and anticipate service needs. This position utilizes a computerized work management system, in particular tool tracking, vendor data, purchasing and inventory modules.
This position is Emergency Duty/Severe Weather Essential and Communicable Disease Mandatory. The incumbent must report to work during periods of adverse weather or other University emergency.
This position participates in On-Call Rotation. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalency.
