University of Michigan Health Corporate Supply Chain Services Manager for Accreditation and Regulatory Readiness will work with Supply Chain leaders and staff across all statewide UMH entities as well as unit-based staff and leadership to oversee accreditation and regulatory readiness as it relates to Supply Chain functions, policies, and processes.  This work will include, but is not limited to, IFU (Instructions for Use) System Wide Management and Compliance, Quality of Contracted Services, Vendor Credentialing, and Product Recall Management.  This individual will facilitate accreditation work through committee management and in coordination with quality, compliance, and accreditation leaders at all sites. The Manager for Accreditation and Regulatory Readiness will work with high intensity and integrity, possess intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate both leadership abilities and a passion for excellence.
Central coordination of Supply Chain and Procurement readiness focused on key domains of accreditation supported by or influenced by Supply Chain policies and procedures. Coordinates the development, implementation and administration of programs, projects and activities focused on accreditation readiness. Responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-wide processes, to include reporting and data driven improvements. Act as the Supply Chain Accreditation Readiness and Product Recall Management point of contact for the state level enterprise.  Coordinates selection, development, and training for applications or technology related to accreditation responsibilities.  Ensures management of product/equipment recall process for UMH including review, notification, documentation, and education of staff. Provides highly responsible, complex administrative support for Supply Chain Services leadership. Coordinates the planning, development, and implementation of new or changed administrative policy and procedures. Oversees the measurement and reporting of vendor performance for Contracted Services and Vendor Credentialing and Compliance.  Ensures that metrics are used to evaluate performance, and that the associated communications around these metrics are clear. Presents and champions project and program recommendations to supply chain, clinical and administrative leaders, steering committees, and unit staff at all locations. Direct supervisor of the following positions:
UMH Ann Arbor Recall Coordinator 7 years of professional operational experience, ideally in a health care environment. Experience with healthcare accreditation readiness and regulations Experience with Health Care Supply Chain related functions Bachelor's degree Ability to apply a broad knowledge of performance improvement principles, practices, and procedures to many areas. Ability to lead others through assessment, scientific problems solving, and implementation of complex and coordinated process change. Demonstrated originality and ingenuity in solving complex questions and problems in an operational environment. Proficient in excel, tableau, and other reporting tools to drive performance improvements. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability in identifying trends in performance and opportunities for improvement. Well-organized, able to establish priorities, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and function with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people in all disciplines and at all levels of an organization. Completes work with a high level of accuracy with close attention to detail. Master's degree Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
