Chemours is seeking a Supply Chain Optimization Manager to join our growing Titanium Technologies team. This position will be available remotely and report directly to the Supply Chain Director. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: + Work across multifunctional teams to assist in OMP design, testing, and implementation, particularly in the S&OP module and its interconnections to FCT and OPR modules.
+ Actively participate in relevant agile cadence meetings.
+ Special focus on SOP optimization and solver tuning
+ Represent TT business as the BU Lead for upcoming MEIO module.
+ Assist with work process translation from current state to future state within the OMP framework.
+ Leverage OMP knowledge to other modules and functions ( SAP interface, DATA UTL , ADM framework, FCT , OPR , MEIO , OPAL coding, etc.)
+ Assist with work process translation from current state to future state within the OMP framework.
+ Assist with end to end model optimization and scenario evaluation. Analyze different as- requested business case studies to understand impacts to the business.
+ Serve on business-wide improvement teams as needed. These include the High Value Ores team, which seeks to improve the plants' ore flexibility, amongst others. Help influence the prioritization of Ore improvement programs with site and business leaders.
+ Use appropriate Supply Chain tools, methodologies, and metrics to evaluate the overall supply chain effectiveness and identify improvement programs. Ensure ore planning tool maintenance and upgrade.
The following is required for this role: + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain / Business Management, Science or Engineering
+ 5+ year' experience working in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of the supply chain and supply planning process.
+ Experience in planning master data and interdependencies
+ Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel
+ Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal and influence skills
+ Flexible, Organizer (self-managing, able to set priorities), Problem solver (good decision- making skills in case of uncertainty)
The following is preferred for this role: + Understanding of TiO2 manufacturing process
+ Minimum of two (2) years experience in the configuration and deployment of OMP or equivalent
+ Master's degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Optimization Techniques, Production Management, Logistics, or equivalent
+ An APICS or other Supply Chain / Operations certification
+ Six Sigma certification
+ Finance, business economics understanding, and modeling experience.
+ Previous experience with Linear Programming
