Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Salary Range: $81,000 - $111,000 plus performance bonuses
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take charge of our end-to-end supply chain operations in Waterloo, Iowa. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and management of all supply chain activities, from product design through to customer delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing supply chain processes, developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing inventory management to meet our financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement key performance indicators across the supply chain to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in operations. Monitor and enhance supplier performance through robust vendor management systems and corrective action plans to address material defects or performance shortfalls. Stay abreast of global and domestic logistics trends, material management techniques, and inventory control practices to optimize supply chain operations. Select and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and safeguard intellectual property while ensuring the fulfillment of financial and operational objectives. Develop and manage inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring continuous material availability and alignment with production schedules. Collaborate across departments to ensure supply chain alignment with product development and design changes, aiming to meet customer demands seamlessly. Uphold rigorous safety standards within the supply chain, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining updated Safety Data Summary forms. Implement procurement and inventory management practices that align with the companys cost and quality objectives. Lead and empower the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to achieve business goals. Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all organizational levels. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain and materials management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record in supervisory roles. Expertise in negotiation, procurement, inventory, and distribution management, including planning, forecasting, and cost analysis. In-depth knowledge of current supply chain practices and innovations. Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Syteline, as well as Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
