About the Role:
As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading a team of Supplier Management and Small Business professionals. Reporting to the Director of Procurement & Property, you'll be at the forefront of our supply chain efforts, supporting program offices and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality, cost-effectiveness, and performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a team of supply chain specialists, overseeing all supply chain activities from sourcing and proposal development to risk management and product delivery.
Act as a key advisor for the implementation of a new Supply Chain system, providing valuable insights and guidance based on your expertise.
Develop and execute supply chain strategies to meet quality, cost, and performance goals, while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Establish and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to agreements and delivering best-in-class service.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify resource needs and drive effective supply chain solutions.
Support program teams during the proposal phase, ensuring compliance with supply chain and contractual requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field.
8-10 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Proven track record in project management, particularly in complex systems implementations.
Strong communication, relationship management, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS acquisition requirements is preferred.
Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain one is required.
