This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule: Home -3 days/Office -2 days.
Tessco is looking for a Supplier Partner Account Manager & Events to join our Marketing team to assist in increasing corporate brand awareness by planning and executing trade shows, meetings, and a variety of special events to further the company's exposure in the marketplace. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organization and communication skills, is detail-oriented, and loves working in a team environment. Responsibilities: Manage and support all Tessco events that directly and indirectly generate revenue and grow the business. Collaborate with a variety of cross functional teams/organizations to establish an event's objectives and requirements. Create detailed event project plans, budgets, and briefs. Manage all event-related tasks to ensure smooth execution. Manage and coordinate all logistics of every event, including venue sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation. Coordinate with vendors, including caterers, AV technicians, etc., to ensure seamless event execution. Collaborate with the Marketing Team for all communications, production, and event delivery needs. Coordinate and execute internal and partner events which may include contract negotiations. Provide support and troubleshoot issues for the onsite team during events. Maintain financial records, track expenses, and report on ROI for each event. Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to improve future events. Prepare and present reports to leadership on event outcomes and lessons learned as needed. Qualifications: 3-5 years of proven experience in event planning and execution Four-year degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field Expertise with event and meeting planning principles and best practices Experience with events management software Ability to manage external vendor resources and relationships Some travel and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekend hours as necessary Proven track record with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Excellent computer literacy (I.e., Microsoft Office products and project management software) Ability to work independently, multi-task, and handle details accurately and in a timely manner Ability to prioritize time effectively and manage competing priorities Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including proofing and editing Positive attitude and collaborative team player Why Join Our Team?
