Are you passionate about driving positive change in supplier quality, delivery, and service? We're seeking a talented Supplier Development Analyst to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in our strategic sourcing efforts, identifying and nurturing suppliers to enhance our operational performance and efficiency.
About the Role:
As a Supplier Development Analyst, you'll be instrumental in guiding new suppliers on integrating seamlessly with our organization. You'll educate them on our processes, tools, and procedures, ensuring a smooth collaboration from day one. Additionally, you'll be at the forefront of extending our operational excellence into our supplier base, fostering continuous improvement across the value stream.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement supplier development programs to elevate performance.
Conduct thorough assessments of potential suppliers, ensuring compatibility with our standards.
Provide expert guidance to suppliers on quality management systems and lean practices.
Monitor supplier performance throughout the development program, escalating issues when necessary.
Collaborate closely with our Quality and Procurement teams to streamline supplier selection and approval processes.
What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on supplier development.
Expertise in ISO 9001, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with tools such as Six Sigma and 8D methodology.
Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and effectively collaborate across cultures and geographies.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a knack for coaching and mentoring.
