Supervise Restaurant staff before, during and after business hours in order to ensure a successful operation and building and repeat business
Monitor staff attendance and performance. Supervise the daily operation of the restaurant. Visually inspect all work areas of the restaurant and equipment prior to opening for cleanliness, proper inventory, and set up. Communicate with all staff to ensure everyone understands to goals and objectives for the entire day. Check for understand to ensure quality service, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, local safety and health regulations. Supervise the team throughout your shift Stepping in where needed, guest checkout, bussing tables as necessary and guest relations. Assist with scheduling and payroll Check staff attendance according to schedules Assist in coaching, evaluating and counseling restaurant staff. DESIRED COMPETENCIES, WORK SKILLS, AND KNOWDLEGE REQUIRED To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies. Other competencies not listed may be required for specific positions. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Possess strong customer service skills. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Possess strong computer processing skill with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local health and safety regulations. Knowledge of appropriate table settings and serviceware. Possess knowledge of all aspects of Banquet and Meeting service. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: During the course of performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
