What Channel Representative contributes to Cardinal Health Supplier Relations is responsible for providing enhanced relationship management for suppliers that translates into exceptional customer service, including maximizing the supply chain, negotiation of distribution and preferred product agreements, and below the line revenue.
Responsibilities + Responsible for the daily operations of the supplier relations function within OptiFreight Logistics. This includes leading a team of professionals who interact cross functionally and with suppliers
+ Support team responsible for incremental program growth for customers through daily relationship management with suppliers
+ Involvement in decisions to support supplier master data and the systems needed to support supplier interaction
+ Apply knowledge of the industry to develop optimal solutions with suppliers and drive supplier compliance
+ Track team performance metrics to ensure targets are hit and goals met
+ Gain insights through data analysis to better understand suppliers and opportunities
+ Bring innovative ideas to improve the process for employees, customers and suppliers
+ In addition, core responsibilities include employee development and prioritizing/assisting with process improvement initiatives to support Lean concepts
Qualifications + 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
+ Preferred experience in at least one of the following areas: Supplier Relations, Operations or Transportation
+ Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience
+ Management or People leading experience preferred

+ Holds team accountably to KPIs and financial goals
+ Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations, customers and supplier experience
+ Frequently interacts with subordinates, suppliers and peer groups at various management levels
Anticipated salary range: $ 78,500 – $100,890
