N4 is a 23 bed cardiac medical and post-cardiac intervention unit. N4 a cts in accordance with the DNV Primary Stroke Center guidelines and educational requirements therein . As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients and their families. Integrates the UnityPoint Health Des Moines Nursing Expectations of Performance in all aspects of care deliver y and professional practice. Manages daily operations of patient care. Education : Graduate accredited nursing school
BSN
Experience: One year experience as a registered nurse.
Experience in specialty area.
License(s)/Certifi c ation(s): Current Iowa license as a registered nurse.
Current BCLS (CPR)
Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Knowledge/Skills /Abilities : Must be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse professional educational and lifestyle backgrounds.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Competency of cardiac rhythms demonstrated upon hire or passing of cardiac rhythm class within 6 months of hire.
Other: Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
