Essential Job Functions: 1. Supervises the overall operation of the medical laboratory.
2. Performs necessary laboratory tests/procedures.
3. Assists with the clinical and research data entry and analysis.
4. Performs assays according to protocol and in accordance with rules of the State of FL and CLIA.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
Marginal Job Functions: Assists the lab personnel in preparing lab reports on the assays, ordering and maintaining lab supplies and maintain appropriate records.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Knowledge of laboratory methods.
2.Ability to read and decipher data on documents.
3. Ability to utilize computerized information systems.
Job Requirements: Required Certifications/Licensures: Florida license as a medical laboratory director/supervisor
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Major (if required): Required Experience: Minimum of five years of related experience in a laboratory.
