Supervisor, Employment Services (Fairfax County and Non-county)Responsible for networking with the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative ServicesDevelops individual employment placements and provides support to individuals in community-based employment

Responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with DARS counselors• Market supported employment to increase referrals• Provide supervision, support, training, and mentoring to Employment Specialists• Complete performance/appraisals for assigned staff• Complete and develop person-centered Individual Recovery Plans• Provide skill teaching and support to assist clients with getting and keeping employment• Educate clients on work benefits and entitlements• Assist clients on disclosure in the workplace and reasonable accommodations• Design and assist in implementation of environmental modifications/workplace accommodations• Match client skills and needs with employer needs
Requirements
• Master's Degree in rehabilitation counseling or related field, or Bachelor's degree with significant work-related experience• High degree of empathy toward clients• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in computer procedures
