Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Position Overview: The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a facility. Depending on the nature of the facility, the Superintendent will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities related to a Retail, Gas Station, Construction, Hospital, Commercial, Medical, Hospitality, or Shopping environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the facility, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and ensuring the safety and security of the facility and its occupants.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies for the facility. Supervise the daily operations of the facility, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting. Coordinate security, maintenance, and cleaning personnel to ensure the facility is safe and secure. Review and issue safety protocols in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintain and update records of facility maintenance and repair. Provide leadership and guidance to subordinates. Respond to incidents and emergencies as required. Ensure the facility is operated in accordance with environmental regulations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. 5+ years of experience in Commercial Construction working on Retail, Gas Station, Hospital, Medical, Hospitality, or Shopping projects Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead personnel. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations.
