It is important to us that this person has the energy and desire to manage the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary to the position.The notable responsibilities of the Sundries Handler are:To deliver and maintain supplies to Flex Pack workstations and the Inbound Dock.Perform keyboard transactions to operate core systems, such as Mandate and Sundries Inventory Management softwarePlace cartons of sundries (cardboard, hanger bags, etc) on pallet and in storage areaUnload sundries containers form truck to skidUse RF ScannerCoordinate and partner with Inbound Clerk concerning sundry shipments receivedMaintain minimal sundries and supply levels in pod and intermediate storage areasMove full skids and place in intermediate storage and podsBreak down skids into units, individual carton amounts or boxes of hangers and place in pods in established quantitiesEquipment operation of pallet rider and pallet jack, lowboy and RC truckAnalyze LABS and Workload Management reports to determine projected sundriesMake sure pods are fully stockedMaintain established expectancy goalsResponsible for bailing used plastic from housekeeping at the bailer.What the Sundries Handler already has:High School diploma or GEDPrevious warehouse experience is a HUGE BONUSAbility to operate heavy equipment, orAbility to use a handheld scanner, orExperience driving a pallet rider and/or fork truckGood hand/eye coordinationExcellent number correlationFlexibility with regards to job responsibilitiesWorking knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and OutlookExtremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changesEffective interpersonal and organizational skillsStrong team orientationExcellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacyDemonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quicklyMust demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS & Co.The Company's policy is to provide equal opportunity to all persons without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, citizenship, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, marital status, Vietnam era/disabled veteran status, physical or mental disability, or other protected classes prohibited by applicable law.
