Position: Teachers/Floaters
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging and creative experiences aligned with our curriculum and standards.
Assist children in reaching developmental milestones, conduct observations, and provide support with schoolwork or remote learning.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children and families entrusted to our care.
Actively supervise activities and maintain regular communication with children, parents, and fellow staff members to address individual needs effectively.
Qualifications:
Experience: While prior experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. However, experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:
Teaching or instructing children (including non-school settings)
Early childhood education
Previous childcare center experience
Curriculum and lesson planning
Interaction with parents, caretakers, or guardians
Application of positive discipline techniques
Ability to work within a flexible schedule
Skills: Preferred skills include proficiency in:
Child development principles
Early learning and development standards
Customer service
Basic computer skills
Effective time-management
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED (Required); Preferred: CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's degree
Clean background check
CPR/First Aid certification (to be completed within 90 days of hire)
Additional Information:
Open availability is preferred, as occasional shifts may vary.
Summer Teachers/Floaters may be assigned to different classrooms based on daily needs.
Competitive wages are offered based on education and experience in the field.
