We are looking for recent college graduates to be part of Starlite Building Services. This unique training program as you can experience the different areas of construction management: Project Management and Estimating. This opportunity will start in May/June and end in August. Project Management
Ensure the proper tools are in place to begin a project Ensure all documents and materials are maintained throughout a project Assist with the financial management of a project Assist with the punch list process by coordinating with necessary parties, tracking all items, and distributing lists to all parties Estimating
Ensure that proper documentation is in place before the beginning of the estimating process Find all necessary information regarding the job to produce a quality estimate Ensure that the best bids are obtained for each trade based on project needs, and create quantity take-offs for all applicable divisions/trades, beginning with the creation of an accurate list of all trades affected Assist in the presentation of information and proposals Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Mechanical Engineering, etc. *There are no specific major requirements, however, these are the most relevant Co-op or internship experience in construction is strongly preferred Strong communication skills Flexibility for national/regional travel Trade experince is encourged Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or restriction, now and in the future Starlite prohibits discrimination against any staff member or applicant based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, genetic information, disability, creed, citizenship status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
