Position SummaryMultiple temporary hourly-intermittent bridge student assistant position in Housing and Residential Life.Start DatePosition available on or after June 3, 2024 and ending on or before August 31, 2024. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.Job Description/DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:Assist department staff with deep cleaning to prepare units for move-in and summer conference programs.Deep clean kitchen and appliances.Vacuum, dust, clean surfaces and other general housekeeping.Clean and maintain windows, screens and doorways.Assist with carpet and upholstery cleaning, and stripping and waxing vinyl flooring.Assist department staff with routine grounds maintenance and landscaping such as sweeping, blowing, and pressure washing walkways.Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of common areas in the community such as laundry rooms, bathrooms, hubs, conference rooms, game room and tv lounge.Collect trash and recyclables on a routine basis.Organize supply closets.Assist with various housing events and conferencing such as move-in, move-out or other events that need additional support.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrates availability to work Monday - Sunday between established hours. Adhere to established work hours. Multiple occasions of unexcused tardiness and/or absence will result in position termination.Required Qualifications:Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.Special ConditionsCSU requires faculty, staff, and students who are accessing campus facilities to be immunized against COVID-19 or declare a medical or religious exemption from doing so. ?Any candidates advanced in a currently open search process should be prepared to comply with this requirement.
