Summary: This positions provides non-clinical services including but not limited to Education, Vocation, Employment, Physical health, Emotional/Mental health, Family/Social needs, Living arrangements/housing, Legal status, Basic needs of food, clothing, and utilities, Life skills, Child care, Transportation, Engagement into Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
Serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator as a way to give back to the recovery community Monday through Friday, daytime hours with flexible start and end times to create work/life balance Full-time and Part-time positions available Part-time rate: $17 per hour Full-time rate: $37,000 per year Essential Responsibilities: Assist individuals in their attempt to recover from substance use disorder-related problems Advocate to eliminate barriers, increase natural supports and build community Meet with consumers to connect to necessary resources in the community such as education services, employment, transportation, housing, basic needs, ect Connect consumers with sponsors and community meetings Education/Experience Requirements: HS Diploma or GED Valid driver's license, personal cell phone, and an insured vehicle Staff in recovery from a substance use disorder must have a minimum of two years of uninterrupted recovery and currently working a personal program of recovery Preferred Requirements: Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) or Certified Family Recovery Specialist (CFRS) credential Any individual who does not have a CRS, and/or CFRS will be required to actively work on obtaining these certifications Proficiency in documentation Perks and Benefits: (Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in insurance benefits after 30 days of full-time employment) Medical and prescription drug coverage Dental and vision coverage Critical illness, disability, cancer, life insurance, and ABLEPAY.
