Student Worker - Research Position Purpose Assist in routine administrative and data collection aspects of clinical research studies needed in accordance with specific instructions and established work methods. Support research investigators as needed.
Primary Functions Support data acquisition in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit Manage neural (EEG + LFP + single neuron), video, audio, and behavioral task data Debug and improve existing MATLAB/Psychtoolbox task and analysis codes Troubleshoot EMU hardware and data acquisition Collaborate with team members regarding requirements, schedules, and activities Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of engineering/computer science/data analysis. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Strong problem solving and attentiveness to detail required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, and information management.
