Student Support Aide Upper School Grades 7-8 Status : Part-Time Hourly
Schedule : M-F, 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Per the School Schedule beginning August 12, 2024
Job Responsibilities: Assist the Student Support Teacher in providing both pull out and push in (in the regular classroom) support to students Maintain direct contact with students identified with learning challenges such as ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety, and Autism May provide accountability for students' on task behavior during class and follow through with assignments May reteach content discussed in class, assist with homework, provide direct support for writing, and teach and encourage study skills Independently direct one Guided Study Hall after collaboration with the Student Support teacher who will provide an overview of what needs to be accomplished during that class period Job Requirements: Have an ODE Educational Aide Permit Must be comfortable in a denominationally diverse Christian community Must be able to integrate faith and learning in subject material where appropriate CHCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
