We are seeking a dedicated Student Services Advisor to join our team remotely. As a Student Services Advisor, you will play a crucial role in advocating for student success at every stage of their academic journey. Whether engaging with students virtually or through other means, you'll uphold the highest standards of integrity and commitment, providing personalized guidance and support. Serving as a bridge between students and various departments, you'll help cultivate a positive and student-centric experience. This role requires effective communication skills, professionalism, and a passion for promoting diversity and inclusivity.
Responsibilities
Proactively engage with students via virtual meetings, phone calls, texts, and emails to offer support, resources, encouragement, and accountability throughout their academic lifecycle.
Utilize student information systems and CRM tools to ensure timely completion of tasks and document outreach efforts.
Conduct regular outreach activities such as welcome calls, progress check-ins, at-risk advising, and graduation preparation.
Provide comprehensive support to students, addressing concerns and escalating issues when necessary.
Coordinate and support student events and activities, including orientation webinars and graduation ceremonies.
Serve as a programmatic expert, possessing in-depth knowledge of program requirements, courses, resources, and amenities.
Collaborate with managers to review goals, performance, and team needs, offering recommendations for improvement.
Execute retention strategies, including communication campaigns and engagement initiatives.
Participate in departmental training and organizational meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for enhancement.
Ensure compliance with FERPA regulations and accreditation requirements while handling confidential student information.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Provide compliant documentation demonstrating ongoing support for assigned students.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Experience in counseling, coaching, education, or related fields preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities.
Proficiency in computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly.
