Hours: Day (Monday - Friday), Time (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

SUMMARY As the Student Records Specialist you will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to students, employees and other guests of the organization. You will perform a variety of administrative duties which includes assisting with student registration, appointment scheduling, student records, preparing rolls, tracking enrollment and taking payments.

RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answer phones and help walk in customers Set up appointments for counselors Register students and take payments Help students; request copies of student records and other verifications as needed Track enrollment and prepare rolls for instructors Be able to take payments, close out a cash drawer, and troubleshoot errors Ability to follow through and complete assignments with minimal supervision Fast and accurate data entry Ability to work well with people in person, over telephone, and in other departments Other office duties as assigned and occasional bookstore backup. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Associates degree and or/2 years of specialized training 2+ years of Customer Service 2+ years of data entry experience - Northstar database preferred Experience in Excel and Microsoft Word Experience in Gmail and Google Apps Experience in cash handling and closing out a cash drawer MTECH maintains the right to conduct a criminal history background check; employment is contingent upon background check results.
