REPORTS TO: Director, Student Information Systems
TERMS: 240 Days
DEPARTMENT: Technology Division
PAYGRADE: TN03

Primary Purpose: To provide service, support, and training to internal customers on Student Information Systems, primarily Skyward Qmlativ and our Custom Reports Portal.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification: ? High school diploma or GED
? Training experience a plus

Special Knowledge/Skills: ? Customer centered and service-oriented with strong attention to detail
? Good problem-solving and analytical skills
? Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
? Ability to develop end-user documentation and online training manuals
? Ability to resolve application-related problems with our customers
? Ability to work well with all levels of district staff
? Ability to collaborate with team members
? Ability to demonstrate patience with various levels of customers' technical ability
? High level of confidentiality is required
? Knowledge/Usage of various Skyward Qmlativ modules is a plus
? Ability to create/update online documentation in Sharepoint sites is a plus Experience:
? Zero to three years in software support and/or training for users

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Provide initial and continuing training to internal staff as related to student information systems, including Skyward Qmlativ and Custom Reports Portal
2. Troubleshoot system-related issues and provide resolutions, workarounds or escalation for internal customers.
3. Import various data files into Skwyard Qmlativ, including, but not limited assessments and report cards.
4. Create and maintain online training documentation for our customers using Sharepoint sites for topics relating to Student Information Systems, primarily Skyward Qmlativ.
5. Provide in-person, online training classes, and training videos for our customers with SISrelated topics, primarily Skyward Qmlativ.
6. Work closely with all district and campus staff regarding student information systems.
7. Collaborate with all SIS team members in the resolution of issues internal to SIS team.
8. Develop and maintain a strong sense of customer service including clear oral and written communication skills
9. Proactively review Skyward Qmlativ Release Notes, Community Blogs and provide relevant information to SIS team members.
10. Develops professional skills appropriate to job assignment
11. Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or others
12. Performs other related duties as assigned EQUIPMENT USED: ? Computer, telephone system, copier, printer, scanner, headset

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands: Reading; Ability to perform basic mathematics; ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); ability to attend to detail; maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; steady phone interactions; continuous sitting, reaching and bending; potential travel to other district buildings or conferences; Must be able to life at least 20 pounds.
