Position Summary
The mid-level Strategy Support Specialist will provide expertise related to the planning, development, and implementation of organizational strategy. The Specialist will aid USAID in its monitoring and its management of its designated operational efforts. They will operate and maintain key strategy infrastructure items to support the efficient and effective adoption and implementation of M/OAA's strategy. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the USAID contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support USAID.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Providing guidance and assistance to USAID Missions, implementing partners, and stakeholders. This may include assisting Missions or Washington with activity design, monitoring, or sustainability planning.
Understanding Agency and USAID guidance, policies, processes, and procedures, and ensuring adherence to them.
Coordinating with relevant USAID staff and programs and participating in selected Agency technical working groups related to issues or areas identified.
Contributing to updates on program budgets and semi-annual portfolio reviews.
Developing briefers and other communications materials related to sector issues.
All aspects and expertise in Training development, planning, implementation, assessment, and improvement.
Ability to support and implement both A&A training efforts and program development.
Responding to Congressional or public inquiries.
Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
Submit Monthly Status Reports.
Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 2 times per week, and respond accordingly.
Complete required compliance training as assigned.
Other tasks as identified and required.
Qualifications, Knowledge, And Critical Skills
Proven proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Proven proficiency in the use of the Google Suite, including Google Sheets, Docs, and slides.
Proven proficiency in the use of the internet, email applications, and database applications.
Demonstrate the ability to appropriately handle sensitive and extensive confidential information.
Excellent skills in communicating both orally and in writing, in plain language with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders, in addition to technical and non-technical audiences.
Effective oral and written communication.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Education And Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field required with a minimum of 5-10 years' professional relevant work experience.
A master's degree in related field can be considered and count towards five years of professional work experience.

US AID Facilities clearance, at minimum.
Work Environment
Essential functions will be completed in a typical indoor office environment with regular exposure to video monitors. When working on-site, employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
Physical Demands
Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; see, talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
