DESCRIPTION Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a leader in cloud computing, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning and Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, including data engineers, analysts, and data scientists. The primary responsibility will be to communicate business requirements effectively to ensure data-driven solutions aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. The talented individual contributor will work closely with strategic planning leaders, analytics and finance teams on projects aimed to advance the prioritization of strategic priorities, prove the measured value of potential and current initiatives. Key job responsibilities
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
•Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, to understand and document their requirements, challenges, and desired outcomes.
oConduct in-depth analysis of existing processes, systems, and data flows to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization.
oTranslate complex business requirements into technical specifications that can be understood by engineers, analysts, and data scientists.
Data Analysis and Insights:
oWork closely with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to understand the available sources, quality, and analytical capabilities.
oLeverage data analysis techniques to identify insights that can inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
Solution Design and Implementation:
oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address business requirements and drive value.
oEnsure that the proposed solutions align with best practices, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements.
oFacilitate communication and knowledge transfer between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring understanding of the solution's capabilities and limitations.
Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement:
oParticipate and lead project planning to ensure successful delivery of data-driven initiatives.
oManage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, and risks effectively.
oFoster relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners to promote collaboration and alignment.

•3+ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data-driven environment, with a solid understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems into manageable components.
•2+ years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools and concepts.
•2+ years Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
