Stormwater H&H Design Engineer

Consor is currently looking for a highly motivated Professional Engineer for our H&H group in our West Jordan, Utah office. This position requires thorough knowledge of stormwater drainage design and H&H modeling and analysis. Responsible for planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. Devise new approaches to unique problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and company standards.
Review project design and reports Perform H&H analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience Assist with project management and scheduling  Prepare technical memorandums and reports Prepare construction plans and specifications Develop probable construction cost estimates for projects  Observe construction and coordinate with contractors Coordinate work with other disciplines such as roadway, geotechnical, structures, etc Handle routine contract administration 4+ years experience in civil engineering PE License in UT or ability to obtain in 6 months Experience with computer applications such as MicroStation, Civil 3D,ArcGIS Pro, HEC-RAS 2D, SRH2D, and/or SWMM applications Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to plan, schedule work and complete work assignments within established budgets and timelines  Strong organizational skills  Good oral and written communication skills Ability to positively and effectively interact with people in all levels of organizations Sound ethical character  Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, from an accredited college/university Previous experience working on UDOT projects is a plus
