Responsibilities
• Participate in management activities for assigned office/kiosk• Manage staffing, productivity, tax prep work, and marketing• Perform administrative functions to maximize customer service and increase sales• Supervise seasonal hourly staff members• Communicate with District Manager on employee recruitment and hiring• Develop, review, approve, and monitor office work schedules• Monitor associate performance and correct errors or problems• Review reports and take appropriate action• Maintain filing system for tax returns• Print and distribute client checks, follow up with clients to file tax return
Requirements
• High School Degree or equivalent• Course of study in management or tax preparation/accounting preferred• Certified by the state with a PTIN• 1 year of previous management or supervisory experience desired• Proficiency with computer software applications• Experience with electronic mail, internet browser, Word, Excel, and accounting/tax preparation software
