Responsibilities
• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees• Provide training and conduct performance evaluations• Ensure store is opened and closed properly• Evaluate operating statements and inventory management• Staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise• Maintain cashier accountability and cash control• Provide superior customer service• Maintain a clean and well-organized store• Follow company policies and complete documentation• Ensure employee compliance
Requirements
• Ability to read and interpret documents• Perform mathematical calculations• Knowledge of cash handling procedures• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and termination practices• Good organization and problem-solving skills• High school diploma or equivalent preferred• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
