The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the store, including employee tasking, cash handling, operational compliance, and ensuring consistent and excellent customer service at all times. The Store Manager provides support for and accountability of a team of cashiers, stockers, and managers, while ensuring that all employees are fully trained in all necessary responsibilities. The Store Manager is responsible for making sure the store is a safe and inviting environment for staff to work in and customers to shop in.
The Store Manager reports to the Owner. This position is a full-time, exempt position
Requirements :
o Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
o 3+ years' experience in customer service and retail management.
o An associates or bachelor's degree

o Must be able to motivate and lead the team, maintaining store morale.
o Must be able to handle multiple demands in a calm and orderly manner, addressing each issue according to its priority.
o Must be able to put together a plan and follow through consistently on commitments.
o Must be comfortable evaluating reports to provide feedback and accountability to department managers.
o Must be comfortable providing constructive feedback to employees based upon job performance.
o Must be able to provide excellent customer service, handling any questions, concerns, or complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.
o Must be able to provide excellent customer service, going above and beyond for the customer each time.
o Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Responsibilities:
o Manage store expenses to ensure the profitability of the store and the company.
o Must feel comfortable providing training to store staff, using all available tools to ensure they are fully trained in their positions.
o Must complete regular audits of the store and each department to maintain operational excellence.
o Must complete weekly schedules, making sure to stay within labor budgets.
o Must complete daily schedules, ensuring all staff are assigned appropriate tasks and kept on track throughout the day and are following assigned break schedule.
o Must complete bi-weekly payroll, ensuring staff are paid accurately for their time.
o Must complete annual reviews for all staff members, providing appropriate feedback as needed to develop staff members.
o Must be able to delegate responsibility of the operation of the store while unavailable or off work.
o Expected to order supplies, as needed for the store.
o Expected to be able to step in and out of any role in the store to maintain optimal operation at all times.
o Expected to maintain operational compliance of the store with the support of Operations.
o Maintain safety standards in the store at all times for employees and customers.
o Must be comfortable resolving questions, concerns or complaints brought up by customers and staff in a way that resolves the situation, leaving the customer satisfied.
o Expected to accomplish any task assigned to them by the Owner, as needed.
This list of job responsibilities is considered a general outline of the position. This position is expected to do whatever it takes to get the job done to ensure the successful operation of the store and of Rainbow Blossom.
This position will be required to lift up to 20 pounds often and 50 pounds rarely. This position will be mostly indoors in a climate-controlled environment, with occasional outdoor exposure, which could consist of hot and cold temperatures as well as potential exposure to wind and precipitation. This position will be expected to stand and walk often, to sit and squat or kneel occasionally, and to climb rarely.
