Definition of Class This position stocks supplies and maintains the stockroom. The incumbent receives and inventories incoming supplies and materials in stockroom, verifies quantity of received material against invoices and notifies supervisor of any discrepancies, delivers materials to appropriate buildings and facilities of the University, and picks us material to be assembled and stored in stockroom, and maintains order and cleanliness of the stockroom. Work is conducted under the general supervision of a supervisor.
Examples of Work Performed Receives and inventories incoming supplies and materials in stockroom. Verifies quantity of received material against invoices and notifies supervisor of any discrepancies. Delivers materials to appropriate buildings and facilities of the University, and picks us material to be assembled and stored in stockroom. Stocks supplies and equipment in accordance with prescribed procedures. Cleans, sweeps and mops stockroom and other assigned areas. Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required. Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions.

Must possess a valid driver's license.
